My all time favourite artist will always be Frida Kahlo, in one of her wise quotes she stated she "paint her own reality". It easy to have dreams, making them work is another thing. You will be thrown outside your comfort zone, you will be a different person in each different situation. The first few times will be painful, the pain may last but it eventually shaped you - to who you are today, and it will continue to shape you to who you can be tomorrow. That's if you allow it. If you embrace all the changes and pain that comes along in your way.
