The Hollow

There's a distinct void in my chest 

No matters how much I scream 

I couldn put it to rest.

Debating thoughts in a mess,

As though it's putting my body to a test.

Nothing more than just an oppressed,

I hate to confess. 

I was a culprit of emotions running from arrest, 

Even if I was wearing a bulletproof vest. 

One of which you tore apart you'd be unimpressed.

The void in my chest manifests. 

Can't tell if I'm heading northsouth or eastwest,

Is there really a solution for the best? 

So many times I've invest 

Time and effort on the quest. 

Truth is,

This void will never be ingest. 

You just have to stop getting obsessed,

Over the open secret everyone 

possess.
