Geometry

With prior acknowledgements, 

we both knew this will not last 

for a lifetime,

then allow us to both breathe

and truly be present

in this moment.

Giving thanks and blessings 

that the tangent lines meet; 

though each going on a different path,

it may very well be the first and solitary time .

These short days/weeks/months,

perhaps one day will eventually

sum up an eternity 

of you and me.

As we impart and imprint these

little footprints,

on the geometric anatomy of our hearts 

That despite not being present forever, 

some wisdom would shaped you in ways you'd 

never predicted ever.

And, i will not ask for more 

for, i am content that we weren't parallels at the very least.

And, i shall,

breathe in my present fleeting moment

with your very presence.

As a cynic to life myself,

starts believing a little in the virtue of

humanity herself.
